When a father first hears their child say “Daddy”, it has a unique, special meaning. But as years go by, those same children grow up and call upon their father as “Daddy” again and again. As years go by, being called Dad again and again loses the effect that it had the very first time. We grow dull of hearing and forget how special it was.
